Dominant Banditos cruise to Memphis
Houston team outscores opponents, 81-5, to reach NYBC
The Houston Banditos Black captured the 10U Super Series National Championship this week in McKinney, Texas, and now advance to the National Youth Baseball Championships in Memphis starting on Aug. 26.

The Banditos overpowered an extremely talented SoCal Outlaws (from Southern California), 11-2, in the championship game.

Banditos starting pitcher Shane Jessen allowed the only two Outlaws runs of the game in working four innings. Then Rhett Fetner shut out SoCal for the remainder of the game.

With two outs in the bottom of the first, Rylan Kaufman put the first two Banditos runs on the board by parking a monster three-run homer.

In the fourth, again with two outs, Alerick Soularie widened the gap launching another Banditos homer to make the score 6-2.

In their seven games enroute to capturing the title, the Banditos outscored all of their opponents 81-5.
